Cape Coral
Cape Coral is Lee County's fastest growing community with over 150,000 residents. It's lush tropical climate plus over 400 miles of Canals has earned it the name "Water Wonderland". Fort Myers
The Lee Island coastline first appeared in the early 1700s in British maps. This area, during the last half of the 1700s, was a base of operations for bands of pirates that raided cargo ships that sailed to and from the port of New Orleans.
In 1821, Florida became a US Territory and settlers asked the Seminoles Indians for protection. Fort Myers was built on the Caloosahatchee River as one of the original bases of operations during the Seminole Indian Wars. The city was named in honor of Colonel Abraham C. Myers, who was the son-in-law of the commander of Fort Brooke located in Tampa.
In 1858 the fort was abandoned, from 1863-1865 it was reoccupied by Federal troops. The southernmost battle of the Civil War, took place across the Calooshatche River in1865.
Fort Myers was the second largest town on Florida's Gulf Coast south of Cedar Key by 1885. Thomas Alva Edison, in the year 1885 cruised down the west coast of Florida and stopped to visit the town.
Bonita
Known as the Gateway to the Gulf, Bonita Springs, Florida, is a virtual paradise. Hugged by the Gulf of Mexico, it abounds with sand dunes and beaches. The residential neighborhoods of this community are surrounded by "Orange Groves" and "Farmland".
Estero

Lehigh Acres
Lehigh High Acres was created in the mid 1950s when Chicago businessman, Lee Ratner, bought 20,000 acres of land as a cattle ranch for tax purposes. After running "the "Lucky Lee Ranch" for a few years, Ratner visualized it as a thriving community. It is due to his foresight and understanding that Lehigh Acres has become the flourishing community it is today!
Since the days of the Lucky Lee Ranch the boundaries of Lehigh Acres have stretched to cover over 102 square miles, with over 152,000 lots.
The community has a population of 71,911 of people from varying cultures and ages. This rapidly developing community offers shopping and employment opportunities to meet the needs of its population. It is ideally located within 30 minutes of many of Southwest Floridas finest beaches and close to many State and local parks.
